Lean
assessments
ProSolve’s Industrial Engineers analyze and improve the processes that directly impact your company’s success.
Our certified training and experience in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies gives us the expertise to identify opportunities, prioritize actions and implement effective solutions.
We work closely with you to understand your goals, improve your processes, and produce the best results.
You'll benefit from increased productivity, the reduction of waste in operational processes, and maximized profitability.
A. Begin the
Assessment
At the start of each assessment, ProSolve defines the scope of the assessment first. This ensures attention is given to the proper areas, based on your company’s specific needs and goals.
ProSolve performs assessments on a single work area, a department, or your entire organization.
It can include physical processes (e.g. production, material handling, storage), information-based processes (e.g. paperwork, measurement, reporting), or both.
B. Understand Your Operations
Within the defined scope, ProSolve works with you and your team to define and document how your processes are currently carried out.
This is called Current State Process Mapping and serves as an important tool for understanding the requirements, sequencing, and interaction of all activities that take place.
ProSolve uses this as the foundation for collecting and compiling process data and other relevant information.

C. Identify
Opportunities
Using the Current State Process Map and the other collected information, ProSolve identifies waste and ways of improving your operations. This may involve layout improvements, process changes, equipment recommendations, or other alterations.
We prepare Future State Process Maps and/or proposed layouts to illustrate improvements and the positive effects that they produce.
D. TakE Action
At the end of the assessment process, ProSolve presents you with a summary report.
This report includes the current state and future state process maps, any applicable layouts, data analysis, and other details completed in the assessment. Most importantly, it includes a list of recommended improvement items that are prioritized by their value to cost ratio and other important considerations.
At this time, you can decide to begin planning and implementing the improvement projects using your own resources, or bring ProSolve Industrial Engineers into your improvement team to ensure successful results.
