Manufacturing Engineer
This challenging opportunity requires work on multiple, diverse projects, processes and facilities with clients across a variety of sectors as a Manufacturing / Project Engineer. Complement the process work of our Industrial Engineers with your knowledge of production design, assembly, materials, fabrication systems, equipment selection and tooling.
Position requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
- A P.Eng. or eligibility to become a P.Eng.
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing and product / equipment design for efficient production.
- Ability to relate with clients and vendors to determine product specifications, source equipment, evaluate vendor products, arrange for the purchase of equipment and materials, and coordinate / execute project plans and schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with the following would be definite assets:
- Client relationship management and project leadership.
- Project engineering and management of multiple, small projects.
- Manufacturing equipment automation.
- Knowledge of stress calculations (FEA).
- Materials engineering and mechanical design experience.
- Equipment installation, commissioning and start-up.
- Knowledge of stress calculations (FEA).
