Allister MacIsaac

Vice President, Business Development

Allister brings 25 years of professional experience to ProSolve.  He has held management and senior leadership positions in the areas of operations, general management, business development and sales.

A large proportion of his experience has been in change management, including corporate re-organization resulting from merger and acquisition activity to adaptations of economic change.  These changes included implementation of automation technologies, operational excellence and continuous improvement.  Allister has experience in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, technology and technology development, oil and gas (conventional and non-conventional), pipeline, industrial and geo-environmental.

Allister has been involved in various projects ranging from ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) transitions, Lean manufacturing and project management experience; project management includes time and motion studies, facility layouts, process improvement initiatives, installation and commissioning of fiber optic surveillance systems in SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drain) production environments, secondary recovery wells for proving out advanced technology and carbon sequestration of a coal fired electricity producing plant.  Operational excellence initiatives were achieved through workflow analysis and performance management of reducing overtime by 60% and fleet size by 20% for the largest volume market in Canada for Superior Propane.

Allister has long-term experience planning in the areas of strategy, business operations, human resources, sales and marketing in unionized and non-unionized environments.  He has also held several positions requiring financial oversight and management of operations for small, medium and large enterprises.
